Product orientation incorrect at infeed — rotated or flipped
Conveyor speed mismatch between adjacent sections — products collide
Guide rails too narrow or too wide — products tip or wedge
Photoeye timing incorrect — products released at wrong interval
Wear parts (pushers, diverters, star wheels) worn beyond tolerance

Fix Steps

1 Clear the jam carefully — watch for product under spring pressure
2 Check product orientation at infeed — adjust guides or orienters
3 Verify conveyor speeds match between sections — use tachometer
4 Adjust guide rail width — 1/16" to 1/8" wider than product on each side
5 Check and adjust photoeye timing — watch product flow in manual/jog mode
6 Inspect and replace worn guide rails, pushers, or star wheels
7 Run 10 products through manually to verify proper flow before restarting

Field Trick

Slow the line down to half speed. If jams stop, it's a timing/speed issue. If jams continue at half speed, it's a mechanical alignment problem.
