Probable Causes (ranked)

Fix Steps

  1. 1 Disconnect motor cables at drive and attempt to clear fault
  2. 2 If fault clears, megger motor cables and motor windings
  3. 3 If fault persists with motor disconnected, drive IGBTs may be damaged
  4. 4 Run IGBT diagnostic test if drive supports it
  5. 5 Verify motor parameters match nameplate (A103-A108 on PF525)
  6. 6 Enable flying start (A541) if motor may be spinning on restart

Field Trick

F12 on a PF525 with motor disconnected = dead drive. F12 only with motor connected = bad cable or motor.
