Probable Causes (ranked)

Fix Steps

  1. 1 Check what is wired to the auxiliary fault input terminal on the PowerFlex
  2. 2 If E-stop, verify all E-stop buttons are released and circuit is complete
  3. 3 If external overload, investigate motor overload condition and reset
  4. 4 Verify safety relay output is closed
  5. 5 If aux input is not used, jumper it per PowerFlex installation manual
  6. 6 Reset fault via keypad or digital input after clearing cause

Field Trick

Look at terminal 27 (or check the drive manual for your model). Whatever's wired there is what's faulting. If nothing is wired, it needs a jumper.
